 — PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Focus on the technical aspects of the project by designing the app's system architecture, selecting the appropriate technology stack, and creating comprehensive system specifications.
Work closely with developers to implement the architectural design, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
Additionally, continuously assess and recommend improvements to the technical stack to keep the project up-to-date and in alignment with industry best practices.
Responsible for defining the vision of the app, prioritizing features,and managing the product roadmap to align with the overarching business goals.
Actively collaborate with stakeholders, collect valuable user feedback, and base decisions on data to continually improve the app's functionality and user experience.
Play a pivotal role in ensuring that the app meets customer needs and drives business success by overseeing its strategic direction and evolution.

— QUALIFICATIONS

5 to 7 years of consulting, business process or software development experience
Must be familiar with general business process concepts such as purchasing, sales, manufacturing, finance, insurance, etc.
Experience working on IT Projects or building SaaS Companies
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
Ability to work from home up to 90%, travel up to 10%
Bachelor’s degree or minor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Decision Information Science, Business, or related program, or equivalent work experience in application development
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate assigned project team, making decisions confidently and guiding the team towards client/project goals.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey ideas, requirements, and feedback between clients and team members.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to understand complex problems, identify solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies to effectively plan, execute, and monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
Client Focus: Strong client management skills to understand and address client needs, manage expectations, and maintain positive client relationships (mitigate scope creep, exemplify value, etc.)
Creativity and Innovation: Ability to think creatively and drive innovation, coming up with new ideas to improve initiatives, processes, and solutions.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to quickly address challenges and roadblocks that arise during the project lifecycle.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, client needs, and industry trends while being able to playback in a proficient manner.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in programming languages, software development frameworks, and tools commonly used in health tech development, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and healthcare-specific technologies like HL7 and FHIR.
Knowledge of Healthcare Standards and Regulations: Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA in the U.S. and GDPR in the EU, and standards for health information exchange like HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
Technical Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex issues that arise in healthcare applications, such as interoperability and data security.
User-Centric Design: Ability to oversee design/development of user-friendly applications that meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients, focusing on usability and accessibility.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals, understand their needs, and translate those needs into technical solutions.
Understanding of Medical Terminology: Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes to better understand the context and requirements of the applications they develop.
Data Security Awareness: Strong awareness of data security best practices to protect sensitive health information and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

— OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS

Previous leadership role in an IT focused consulting services company 
Experience in healthcare industry a plus
Strong understanding of data and systems
Familiarity with common development languages such as C#, Javascript, React, React Native, Angular, Swift, PHP and etc
Project Management experience
Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) concepts as it relates to applications
Certified in agile framework and associated scrum methodology 
Low Code / No Code Development experience
Knowledge of REST APIs and other integration technologies
Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in both technology and healthcare to continuously improve their skills and the solutions they develop.
